About Me:: I am 58, have been involved in the peace movement since my college days (Vietnam days). I have post-polio syndrome, so am mostly home bound these days and on a ventilator. But with the computer I spend about 6 hours/day reading various political sites and writing/signing anything which will help the cause of peace and get us out of Iraq & Afghanistan. ..and the Republicans out of the white house!

I think sharing ideas online is more effective than most people think. Also, it is nice to meet other people who care about these things since most people around me don't think they can do anything about it so they just shrug their shoulders and go to work.
